T’was dark one night
The wind whispers quietly in my ear
I sit under my favorite ominous tree
Waiting for the stars to fly across the sky
As I ponder my life experiences
I hear a rustle in the woods
I look toward the noise but nothing is there
Nothing scares me so I go back to the starlit skies
I then feel a dark presence looming over me
Still…I see nothing
The cool breeze sends chills down to my bones
I grab for my sweater, only to see it float a foot away
Still not scared, I walk over to put on my sweater
And I see it rise only to be fitted over an invisible entity
Curious, I try and touch it
But my fingers feel nothing but air
I grab my sweater and walk home
Still feeling a darkness around me
As I get into bed I think of what or who it might be
But it is still a mystery to me, even to this day
