Finding Peace Within

Finding Peace Within

As a mother of two; boy and girl, I find myself always second guessing my parenting skills. This is normal. Not one of us is perfect. We will all do something we think is right, but that decision may not actually be right. We just have to pick ourselves back up, and keep going. We learn from our mistakes.

I learned from a previous article, how grandparents are better at raising children than the parents. Do you know why I could understand that? Because they made their fair share of mistakes, had their own experiences raising us, and learned from it all. They have also seen how times have changed, and can apply different techniques than we can.

No matter how much education in psychology and child development we all have, it is the experiences, hardships, how we deal with them, and the mistakes we learn from that will help us be a better parent and person. We all have to find our own peace with the decisions we have made, and just trust that we will all make the right choices to help our children become a better human being and hopefully help them to make the world a better place in the future.
