As I sit here, waiting for myself to get tired…I think about my day. \u00a0It was tough for me. \u00a0I am a teacher. \u00a0I wanted to enter this profession to help children of all ages, make something of themselves. \u00a0However, today I felt a failure. \u00a0They put me to shame. \u00a0I thought, “how cruel these kids are right now.” \u00a0Well, I have to look at it this way. \u00a0I did something wrong somewhere. \u00a0I have to find a different road to get their attention. \u00a0I have to remember they all may not have caring individuals at home, or are fighting their own battles. \u00a0I cannot let this break me down. \u00a0I will fight back, but next time with love. \u00a0With laughter. \u00a0With compassion. \u00a0As a parent, we have to do this as well, right? \u00a0Why not continue these strategies as a teacher. \u00a0We as parents are teachers as well. \u00a0Every day I start it fresh and new. \u00a0Tomorrow will be no different. \u00a0I will put my suit of armor back on, and go in fighting. \u00a0These kids deserve it, regardless what they do and what we see. \u00a0For what is under their tough skin, they scream for love and attention. \u00a0I will get you kids! \u00a0Mark my words. \u00a0This is what I wanted…a challenge. \u00a0Challenge accepted!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
